Some of the common concerns Dr. White works with include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, anger management, assertiveness, and LGBT issues, including work with parents of LGBT children.
Prior to his graduate studies White graduated magna cum laude from the University of California at Irvine, where he completed a Bacheolor's degree in Social Ecology, a multi-disciplinary program which incorporates elements of psychology, environmental analysis and criminal justice.
Dr, White has worked as a staff psychologist at Scripps Mercy's Behavioral Health Outpatient Program. He holds a membership in the San Diego Psychological Association, and has served on the board of directors of the San Diego chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG).
